"the beginning of the redemption") is the period of time in which a new stage of revival in the process of the redemption and the coming of the Jewish Messiah. Geula also means liberation from self-limiting beliefs and free self-expression and co-creation.The Elephant, who is the main character of the painting, symbolizes liberation and self-empowerment through intelligence and awareness of repressed memories and limitatons that derive from conditioning.Elephants are extremely intelligent animals but, similarly to many of us, are trapped in invisible chains. When the elephant is young and small, it is strongly tethered to something large and heavy; a strong stake or a tree. The elephant pulls but cannot free itself, and eventually gives up, confining its movements to the length of the rope. As soon as this happens, the tree can be replaced by a small stake that the now much larger elephant could pull up in an instant. Only it doesn't. Stake, rope, and confinement have become indelibly associated in the elephant's.Does it ring a bell?A condition is just a condition though; each instant of our lives is an opportunity to transmute limitations into expansion of our potential. The true value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in which he has attained liberation from the self. Subconscious Scroll76''×41'' Mix Media PaperSOLDOne of the intellectuals that inspires me the most is Carl G. Jung and in Subconscious Scroll I followed his invitation to use art as a spontaneous flow of truthful information without filtering it through any process of rationalization. What we see is a mirror of what we are.How would it feel to let go of any expectation on what we want to reflect and how we want to be seen? What if our reflection, when let free and wild to be, is a better ally than what we want it to be?Subconscious Scroll is an invitation to dive in, with no security belt on and no GPS needed into an introspective journey.
